Dr. Monica Bianca Musete, MD, FAAP

Going by her preferred name of Dr. Bianca or “Dr. B” for short, Dr. B provides a full range of pediatric care for newborns, children, and adolescents. Her early experiences as a pediatrician in Milwaukee, Wis. Included routine care for children all the way through to emergency care situations, and everything in between.

She states, “Every day with children is a welcome challenge to understand them, educate them, and learn from them. At the end of the day, I might not have saved the world, but if I help one kid and his/her family, it feels like I improved the world.”

Dr. B received her training from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila” in Bucharest, Romania, with a family medicine residency completed in Bucharest and a pediatrics residency completed with Brooklyn Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

She continues, “As a pediatrician, you are part of a child’s life forever, from birth to adolescence, to help them grow healthy and strong. And if you do your job right or stay long enough in your medical practice, those children grow up and bring their children back to see you.”

Dr. B enjoys the field of children’s medicine very much. She speaks four languages – English, Spanish, French, and Romanian. In her spare time, she likes to garden and cook. She grows her own vegetables and does her own landscaping around her home, creating a paradise for butterflies and birds. She also likes to go hiking in the mountains and travel to learn about other cultures.

St. Francis Pediatrics is a team of dedicated providers that specialize in children’s medicine and the specific issues affecting growing children. Treating a child is not like treating an adult; a major different between pediatrics and adult medicine is that children often cannot make decisions for themselves, and they need a strong support team to help them achieve the highest levels of health and wellness.
